This morning I went to a marketing breakfast from the NJAWBO Middlesex-Somerset Chapter. NJAWBO stands for New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners. The topic of the breakfast was “Word of Mouse- Building a Better Business on the Web.” It was interesting learning about web marketing, something I have taken upon myself to become familiar with. One of the panelist was Cara Maranco, it turned we went to school together. She was in Columbia, while I was in Barnard. We took education classes together. She now publishes and edits,along with her husband, Reporte Hispano-a Spanish-language New Jersey paper. Ellen Silverman, my marketing consultant, suggested I attend.
